Welcome to Revelations of God's Heart, my name is Courtney aka Mannamouth. This blog is dedicated to the revelations I have received from God about His heart for His people.

If you know anything about the Bible, you know that King Solomon was considered the wisest king ever to rule any land. He even wrote an entire book of the Bible himself. Ever heard of Proverbs? Yeah, that was Solomon. The reason why Solomon was so wise was because he simply asked God to give him wisdom and God answered his prayer.

So when I was a teenager and I read about Solomon, I thought that it was so awesome that he asked something of God and, just like that, he got it. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that Solomon's wisdom was so broad. I wanted wisdom too, but I wanted it for one specific thing, the knowledge of God's heart. So instead of being vague like old Solomon, I decided to be specific. I asked God for the same amount of wisdom as He gave to Solomon, but on one very specific topic: His heart. And just like He did with Solomon, I believe that God answered that prayer.

It was about that same time that I created my first ever email address. I was trying to think of a good handle and suddenly, it came to me: Mannamouth! If you don't know, manna is the bread that fell on the Israelites during the time that they were lost in the desert. It was God's way of sustaining them until they were able to find their way out (maybe I'll post the whole story one day). So I thought, what better name than Mannamouth? God had given me these revelations in order to sustain His children, and I knew that someday He would use my mouth to speak them.

Now, I am not saying that I have all the answers or that I am some perfect example of humanity, I don't and I'm not. But I do strive to be like Jesus and I truly believe that God has revealed certain things to me about who He is and how He loves us.

Some of the things I've learned may stretch your beliefs or even cause controversy, but that's okay! When we feel upset, angry, or confused about something that God reveals to us, it's because the Holy Spirit is convicting us of a religious notion, wrong thinking, or bad patterns in our lives.

So I have no problem with you getting mad at me as long as you examine those feelings, see if the Holy Spirit is speaking to you, and maybe stop yourself from leaving a nasty comment (just remember the old WWJD: What Would Jesus Do?).

My hope is that you will read these words and decide for yourself whether or not they ring true, and if they do, then I pray that they will help you to know God more and to draw closer to the kindest of hearts that I have ever known.
